Hey guys!! I was just sitting here, returning some long overdue comments.. I'm sorry guys.. There just aren't enough hours in the day anymore, and your girl needs her beauty rest. LOL I mean, for real!! But, I was thinking about Thanksgiving and food LOL.. I love food... But, I was thinking.. What about soul food?? Now, at my sister's house, in addition to the turkey and the ham, there will be chitterlings YUK! But, hey! My mom made them when I was a kid. And, you might remember we talked about the relationship of black people to chitterlings.. (they were the scraps that the slaveowners didn't want, so they threw it to the slaves, and they made a meal out of them.. Isn't that some shit? smh..and we wonder why we die younger..Okay..where was I..not, I will ..wait..strike that..reverse it.. BABY will LOL make blackeyed peas and neckbones (beefnecks, NOT turkey necks..) see..you have to know which kind of neck you want.. You can't be just cookin' any ole necks you know what I'm sayin'? OKAY?? oh! and some collard greens...UUUUUUUUUuuuH...Oh let me stop!! The good thing about Vegas though, is, that if you don't want to cook, you can go to any of the casinos for dinner.. Talk about a buffet to die for!! We took my mom to the buffet at the Grand for Christmas before.. But, it's always sad when you see the one dude who is eating alone.. But, hey! I guess, you have to figure..Maybe he wanted to be alone..Maybe the fam gets on his damned nerves!! Then I can get my eat on.. Hey everybody!! How was your weekend?? Mine was pretty decent.. Romantic. I'm upstairs, in the office, looking the most beautiful sunset.. It's like an event for me..lol I always have to watch.. aaawwww..it's over now... I love sunsets.. Florida has beautiful sunsets also.. I think it's important to stop every day for a time and just enjoy what's in front of you The sunset, a flower garden, a beach, a lake, a hiking trail.. All of that's really good stuff!! Baby and I watched "Wolf Creek" again this weekend.. That movie is way wicked! CHILL FACTOR! I taped "Imitation of Life" for her..We started it this morning, but, we had to get to work so..But, Baby's never seen it! OMG! One of the greatest films ever made!! okay my loves...I'm gonna go and wait for my dear one to get home.. until laterz....
