One of my blogbuddies at blogster said that she was kind of dissappointed with last night's results, so, I can't wait to see what happened. OH SIT!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE VCR? Looks like we're gonna have to go out and get a new one. Yes, I'm devoted to the VCR. I know that DVD players are all the rage, but, I can see me just scratching all of the movies, just like I do the cd's!! I sweap, tapes and cassettes are so much easier..For me anyway. My mom is so funny.. She thinks she's all current now. She's of the DVD generation. But, see, she's not clumsy like your girl.

I was watching Oprah. She was talking to this chick who is a sex addict. Oprah was telling the chick that she had and has a food addiction. Then, in the next breath tells the girl that she doesn't understand her sex addiction, because strange penis would bother her. Then the whole audience broke out in applause.. Come on now.. Addiction is addiction. Weather it's dick or snickers.

Anyway..

Anybody watching Idol this year? Baby's voting for that Pickler chick. I like that little dorky kid with the glasses. He seems so sweet. He may not be the best vocalist, but, he's likeable, and if I had a daughter, I wouldn't mind letting her go to see him in concert. The kid seems harmless! The lisp is a little annoying,but, nothing that a little speech therapy can't help with.

You know? Oprah is funny these days.. She comes off like she cannot understand peole.. Part of her appeal was always that she could understand her guests. She was always able to relate to them on at least some level.. Hey, why is it so hard to understand how a woman would be promiscuous.. I know for a fact that she has said in past that she herself was promiscuous for a period of time so, what's the deal? This one guest is studying psychology and pre-med.. She was a sex addict and was eventually raped. She told Oprah that she never thought that it would happen to her. Oprah responded by saying "well, you are a psych major, pre-med..how could you not think that it wouldn't happen to you. She so missed the mark.

I think I was affected by the James Fry interview. I'm almost done the book by the way. It's picking up again.. I've got exactly a hundred pages to go.. Every few pages or so, I see him on her show. Looking so beaten. An alcoholic, drug addict who lied... Go figure. I feel compassion for this man. Although my man isn't much for punctuation, and he loves run on sentences, the message screams out loud and clear. The images are clear. You feel like you're right there with him. feeling the sickness of mind body and soul.. To know that someone was that low, and to kick him, in my opinion was kind of cruel.. I hate to bust on Oprah, because she's my girl, but, I've gotta be honest.

Hey guys!!! How's it going? I was going through blogstream withdrawal today!! I got up this morning and my computer just would not boot up. At first it did partially, but then, nothing.. I was like..OH HELL NO! LOL! long story short.. baby and I had to drop the tower off at the computer repair shop. Should be back in a few days. In the meantime, we went to one of the local pawn shops and I got a kool one. Dayum! I was like..I gotta blog honey!!!! Shit! I was hoping that we didn't have to go out and by a new one. My mom did that. Went out and bought a brand new computer, only to find out that her old one was fixable. I wish I knew how to build one. That would be kool. Rims and shit..Yeah right... Mine is HP..This one is Compaq.. It really doesn't make a difference to me, as long as I can check on the news, check on you all, and email my peeps..

Anyway..Baby is off napping.. I need to join her.. The whole time we were out riding around, I was reading "Pieces"..damn.. could I be any slower with this damned book?
