I don't know why, but, for some reason I just started thinking about that show. How strange. I haven't seen it in a long time, and Baby and I are watching "Amazing Race" while getting ready for work. So why am I thinking about Fred Sanford? Hmmm. Oh the workings of the mind. LOL!
Hey! Remember the episode when Aunt Esther ate the salad out of the bowl, not knowing that she was eating marijuana? LOL that was a funny episode. Those were the days. We had "Sanford and Son" then "All In The Family"...Talk about your stomach hurting from laughter!

Hey guys! Top of the day to you! :-) Baby is still in bed. I don't think that she's asleep. But, she's working in the afternoon today, so I'm not going to wake her up. She rests.. ;-)

I'm checking out this movie called "Shattered Glass". It's about the journalist Stephen Glass. He worked for the New Republic in the 90's. It's a magazine. I actually subscribe to it online. Anyway, Mr. Glass was a young law student who worked for the magazine. Turns out that he faked tons of stories. Exactly how many I don't know. He was before Jayson Blair. He was another guy who faked stories. Both men have gone on to other careers. I think Blair wrote a book about his experience.

This Glass kid was smart too! He totally didn't have to do that. Yeah, he was in law school at the time, and that may have added it's pressures, but to lie stains the soul I think. He was lying to his editors, friends, the public. EVERYBODY! His career pretty much came crashing down he made up a story about a computer hacker (high school aged) who hacked into a company's system, then, extorted money and stuff from them. All made up. The whole enchilada! He was selling the story to the editors at "George" or "Forbes" magazine. One of those. and they tried to check his facts. Not one checked out. BUSTED! He seemed really destroyed over the loss of his job. The way that he was portrayed in the movie, makes him appear to be slightly disturbed. Well, habitual lying is an illness.

I'm sure that we've all come into contact with people who lie just for the sake of lying. As soon as I realize that about a person, I run the other way! Honesty is so important. Trust and all that good stuff.

Anyway..I'm gonna go surfing and see what's going on out there with my peeps!

Okay guys..I'm back from my "surprise"!! Well, well, well...Where do I begin..After Baby finished doing laundry she started to pack bags. I see I see said the blind man. I knew we were going somewhere. She loads up the car, I feed the fish and we hit the road. We ended up riding way up into the mountains! Redrocks all around. It was a beautiful scene. We wound up at these hot springs in California. I have never been to any hot springs before. I love "first times" there's nothing like them. This pace is sooo kool!! It's really remote and there are all of these kool cottages and a lake. Even the lake is 100 degrees! Actually a little over I think. The ducks live on the lake! Imagine that..A perpetual hotbath.It was soo comfy cozy. No cellphone, no tv..Just us..HHmmm. :-) After going into the springs late last night we went stargazing. You can see each and every planet and star in the sky from that point. We saw like three shooting stars! How kool is that? I have never seen the sky from such a beautiful vantage point. The sky in Texas is nice, being as though the land is so flat. But, this was amazing! It felt like we were right there with the stars and stuff. Schree` and Baby Under The Stars! LOL!! Then..In the still of the night..Well, use your imagination. ;-) Anyway..My surprise was so relaxing. A trip up to the mountains to enjoy a cottage and the hot springs. Thanks to Baby. She's so sweet to me. I love that girl. We laughed way into the night. We laughed so hard that my stomach was killing me! After a few beers I was doing my dance in the spring! LOL!! Hey! I don't know if I should admit this or not, but when we got there, we got the grand tour of the property. Well, like halfway through the tour, I started to feel really sick. Well, I had a beer on the way up and I guess that you really don't realize that you're going in circles when going up a mountain. Guys, when we got into the cottage, I stripped naked because I could feel this heat coming over me. Then I like ran into the bathroom and lost all of my cookies! FYI Don't drink beer while going up a mountain !!
I'm gonna go watch My Fair Brady!! I'll be surfing on the commercials!

Close your eyes..count to three..Okay, so I love Willy Wonka! Anyway..I'm about to embark on a kool journey with Baby. I don't know where, or exactly when. She just finished the laundry, and I'm all ready. I've been talking a lot about going to the top of the Stratosphere! There are like 5 rides up there. There's a new one that shoots you over the side and you can see all of Vegas! Whatever it is, I know we'll have fun. I get her all to myself today, and that's a very good thing. :-)

I have some other suspicions, but, I'm just gonna hold on nd enjoy the ride.. Wherever she may take me. ;-)

Don't you just love Saturday nights? It's so nice out right now. Baby's got a surprise planned for tomorrow, so I'm pretty excited. I like surprises! :-) I'm like a kid that way. I'll fill you guys in when I find out!

Today was a fun day! I had dance as usual, and got a great workout. Played tennis for about an hour (well, raquetball), then came home to chill out. I'm finally just at the end of "DaVinci Code". I read a little of that today and I also worked on the blanket that I'm knitting for Baby for Christmas. I think that knitting is my new "thing" for a while. It may sound boring, but, it's really fun! My (well, Baby's) blanket is soo big now. It feels good to watch it get bigger and bigger. I'll need some lessons in order to make anything else though. A blanket or afghan is pretty easy. Hey! Look at me! Turning into Martha Stewart! LOL!

Anyway..Right now Baby is falling asleep. ;-) She's been running all day. Oh! We went to get the oil changed today too..Jiffy Lube. I don't know why, but, the word "lube" makes me laugh..
